How to get my kid to WA for a holiday

Hi All,

I have a 6 1/2yo son in Vic, I moved to WA 5 years ago, through this time I have been travelling to Vic every 8-10 weeks to have him for a weekend or a little longer on holiday periods. About 2 years ago we had mediation, as I wanted him to come to Perth a few times a year, it was agreed he would come at easter time 2 yrs ago, this failed as it didn't suit the ex (eventhough in the medation papers), then I booked flights for later that year Nov, with the intention of my sister to fly with him. 1 week out, all of a sudden, he didn't want to come, eventhough talking about it for 4 weeks prior.

I has to cancell tickets and loose a few hundred bucks, but that's not the issue, where do I stand with these mediation papers, do I have to take the steps of court orders and is this a costly exercise, as you can imagine I pay child support, for 2 kids ( the other one older no hassles there) and have always paid for the air travel, things have tightened up financially and I just can't affor lawyers fee's.

Cheers

Mark
