SRL-Resources (SRL-R), is a support organisation for those who by choice or necessity will represent themselves in either the Family Court of Australia or the Federal Magistrates Court in Children's matters.

We provide resources, support activities, services and the skills and knowledge needed for SRL's to better navigate the Courts by understanding the processes involved and what is required to better manage and present their case.

SRL-R is a single purpose organisation - to assist people involved in children's issues navigate the Family Courts. SRL-R also assists those that may be minimising their costs by using unbundled legal services. We are non political and non gender. We do not provide counselling or legal advice or provide support with property matters or CSA applications.

The SRL's have created this great quiz to test your knowledge.

If they are, you can continue to receive payments until the end of the calendar year in which they turn 19. This means FTB Part A will be paid for children aged up to 16 years, young people aged 16 to 19 years who are in full-time secondary study (until the end of the ca...
Lawyers say Family Court reforms pose risk to vulnerable (NZ)
The Family Court Proceedings Reform Bill passed its first reading in Parliament on 4 December. The bill would encourage simple family issues to be resolved outside court, leading judges to focus on the most serious cases, such as abuse or family violence. The Government says the changes will save money and help parents resolve custody and other issues more quickly.
There's got to be something more than this! say men
Bernard Carroll has spent more than 30 years travelling around rural Australia talking to groups of men about their health - conversations that often end up focusing on relationships. He reports of men bewildered to find themselves in marriages where they never get it right, or get any thanks for what they do. A typical lament to Carroll: ''Why in the f— am I doing all this when I don't get given the time of day?'' Their ''problem which has no name'' - marital discon...
